We are counting down to the final months of this year… isn’t it unbelievable? Work has been insane lately, because of course, all the transactions have to drop at the same time. It’s definitely been a very productive couple of months, and I’m excited to share this bumper crop of #empties.

We are coming into the home stretch now… and my favourite season of the year as holiday collections start rolling. The genies must have read my mind, I came home last week to find the new SUQQU Christmas 2017 Collection waiting for me! This is perhaps the most fun and extensive seasonal collection that I’ve seen from SUQQU yet, and exclusively designed by Jorge Balzaretti for the UK market. The collection will launch at Selfridges tomorrow (5 October), followed by Harrod’s and Fenwick’s Bond Street on 19 October. As always, things are bound to sell out before you can say SUQQU, so here are full swatches, a few makeup looks and my thoughts to help you make up your mind!

The venerated house of Chanel celebrates the lady behind the brand this year by unveiling a whole new collection of luxuries dedicated to Gabrielle Chanel. From a line of bags named after her to the J12 Mademoiselle timepieces… and now, a new fragrance simply known as the Gabrielle Chanel, an ode to the Chanel woman of today.

Just like that, we are in the month of October! The past 2 weeks have been all kind of hectic, and most nights were spent in flying across different cities or at work functions. The few scarce nights of solitude, I was completely knocked out by the time I stepped out of the shower. And now that we are officially planning our party looks for the upcoming holiday season, I am trying my best to get these reviews out as quick as I can! I had started my coverage on the hot new Marc Jacobs Eye-conic Collection last week [here], and will be showing you 2 other palettes that I love very much today - Provocouture & Frivolous!

I have been on the road for almost 2 weeks now, and I had originally hoped to find time in the evenings or weekend to do some writing, but it has been an exhausting trip so far. I was glad to have been able to take a peek at the second Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder Collection before I left, and had the chance to play around with a select few pieces… so here are my thoughts!

Has it really been 5 years since Marc Jacobs Beauty was launched? I still remember placing my order in the US and unveiling the sleek palettes for the very first time. Since then, the brand has gone on to release many more uniquely packaged and beautifully formulated products. Now, it almost feels surreal to see a whole new collection of 7-colour eyeshadow palettes… the Marc Jacobs Eye-conic Collection!
