I love trying out luxury skincare as much as the next person on the street, even more so when it is antiaging and carries wafts of fragrant ginseng. Sulwhasoo’s latest addition to its Concentrated Ginseng Renewing line has captivated me, and I think I need a backup already!

It has been an incredibly intense couple of weeks at work, so much so that I found myself rushing to work a few days ago without any time to spare. I grabbed a couple of jumbo eyeshadow pencils and a lipstick, and took off, slapping things on in the car as I went. All this made possible thanks to a handful of new Cosme Decorte AQMW Eye Crayons!

No matter how many foundations I test and review, I still get excited every time a new one crosses my path. And of course, when YSL announced a new liquid foundation based on one of my favourite cushions [this!], I knew the stars are aligned. The latest YSL All Hours Foundation is the best from the brand yet!

I remember when a black eyeliner was all I needed to consider my eye makeup done… of course that was before my lids started drooping, making it harder for most eyeliners to stay in place. These days, I still use eyeliners on a daily basis, to make my small Asian eyes stand out, and my lashes fuller. And so, when I received a bunch of brand new eyeliners from Kose’s Esprique makeup line, I knew I would have a lot of fun with them!

I have tried a few things from Make Up Store before, but never in a significant way that made me stop and fully pay attention. And so, I was really touched by the thoughtfulness of the lovely people at Make Up Store Singapore, when they invited me down for a small group private makeup demonstration. I had the opportunity to watch their makeup artist work with the products up close, and even play with them myself. What impressed me the most, is how value for money the products are - everything that I tried out is well pigmented and refined in quality on par with other high end brands, and come in larger quantities at lower price points than most of their peers. Today, I’d like to show you a handful of color makeup from their Summer 2017 collection.

I love every single La Mer moisturizer there has ever been released, and have managed to find a use for every one of them. With only one face, it is almost unfathomable to find an occasion for yet another moisturizer, and yet… La Mer has managed to surprise me yet again with its new Moisturizing Matte Lotion!
