A lovely surprise!!
I was really surprised when a courier showed up at my doorstep today bearing a stunning coral red box. A great big heart of thanks to the sweet folks at Bellabox for this unexpected gift!!
When I opened up the box, an even bigger surprise was awaiting…
Bellabox is holding a blogger event next month and has sent me an invite! All this love has gotten me so hyped, i’ve been dancing little jigs around my apartment all day.
And oh, did I mention this February Bellabox came wrapped in the cutest tissue?!
To celebrate cupid’s season of love, February’s Bellabox featured Lanvin’s Marry Me perfume. Although not a new fragrance, this is suitably apt for romantics all over the world. This is a crisp floral scent that is exuberant yet elegant. Marry Me intertwines top notes of orange blossom, freesia and passionate peach with lovely floral heart notes of jasmine, rose and magnolia. Mysterious base notes include musk, amber and virginia cedar.
The other item that got my heart all aflutter was the Institute Karite Paris Extra Gentle Body Milk. I have been yearning to try out this brand of products for some time now, so this was a real wish-came-true moment. Containing shea butter as its key ingredient, this body milk promises to pamper and nourish even the most sensitive skin. I loved the delicate scent, and the light fluid was easily absorbed on my body.
Tucked in my box was also a little bottle of Avance Duo Demaquillant Super, an eye makeup remover suitable for waterproof makeup. Avance is a Japanese drugstore brand that is little known in Singapore. This eye makeup remover contains chamomile flower extract and trehalose to soothe and moisturize. I was very impressed to find that this little powerhouse easily removed my triple-layer of primer+mascara (x2), waterproof / smudge proof liquid eyeliner!
There were 2 interesting vials of products from homegrown label Adonis. Having grown up with TV and radio ads on Adonis’ many beauty services, I was no stranger to the brand. However, this is my first encounter with its skincare products. Included in my Bellabox was the Adonis Dematox and Adonis Herbal Peel Gel. The Dematox helps to unclog congested pores, and is an Adonis best seller. The Herbal Peel Gel helps to remove dead skin cells to reveal soft, radiant skin underneath. There was also an invitation to experience a complimentary facial experience tailored for my skin type! Looks like it’s time to get re-acquainted with the beauty of Adonis.
