Lush, Moist & Plump lips with Laneige Serum Intense Lipsticks

Are you tired of all my yabbing on about K-lips trend yet? Indulge me on just 1 more… I promise this will be worth your while!

Laneige Serum Intense Lipsticks have been dubbed LED lipsticks as they are intensely pigmented, delivering vivid colors that resemble LED lighting. The plus side to a bright lip, is it makes you look even fairer and clearer (the Asian dream). After declaring the best lipsticks are made by the French just last weekend (here), I have to swallow my words as these Korean lipsticks give even Guerlain’s rouges a run for their money.

As the name implies, the Serum Intense Lipstick feels very moisturizing on. It is incredibly lightweight, and never felt greasy, sticky or drying. It is so emollient, I don’t think I have ever tried anything quite like it. One single swipe delivers fully opaque color for my entire lip. And the finish is a lustrous, glossy shine that makes my lips look plumper and juicier.

Even more incredibly, the color lasts a good 4-5 hours despite constant talking, pursing of lips and drinking!! With continual contact, the shine does eventually fade, but the color remains. Even after the 5 hour mark, a stain lingers (although I noticed from swatching several different shades at the counter that the staining ability varies, with the brightest shades more prone to staining).

There are 12 different shades available ranging from a very popular neon orange to subtler pinks and nudes. They are priced affordably at SGD34 (approximately USD26) but can be found heavily discounted here. My picks from the range are Flaire Magenta (pictured above) and Twinkle Coral!

xoxo
