For FW2015, Chanel has released 3 new limited edition nail polishes. Today, I would like to start by introducing the one that I had least imagined would be special, but in the end, won my heart as the most attractive of the lot - Chanel Le Vernis 671 Ecorce Sanguine!
Chanel Le Vernis 671 Ecorce Sanguine seemed a straightforward classic red from the promotional materials, but is instead a stunning red with golden micro shimmer! Now, you know how fond I am of anything that lends a nail polish some sort of complexity, but when Chanel adds that to one of their reds, it turns into magic. Chanel reds are some of the most wearable and elegant red nail polishes that I own.
Under direct sunlight, the golden shimmers come out much more evidently, warming up the red polish significantly. Left on its own, under dim indoor lighting, it is mostly neutral to cool-toned. Ecorce Sanguine is a lovely formula, which is perfectly opaque in 2 coats.
Of all the Chanel reds, which is your favourite so far? For me, the golden shimmers make Ecorce Sanguine a very special and unique one in my books!
I love this shade so much, it i so classic, chic, so unexpected too.
I rarely wear reds but this one stole my heart. Looks lovely on your nails. <3
I love red nail polishes…. lived on them when I was younger, and I still do!
Beautiful red shade 😉
I love the golden shimmers! Don’t you?!
Ahh this is such a pretty red indeed! I might also like it more than the other two. I seldom go red, but when I do I actually like it!
Yay!!! go for it!!!
