Idyllic Romance with Crabtree & Evelyn
Where has the weekend gone?! I have a mile-long task list this weekend, and the house is still in an unspeakable state [I swear each time I pack, everything just miraculously gets messy right away!]. It is Chinese New Year Eve today, and it’s going to be mayhem as my sis is coming home with her son for the holidays. Nonetheless, I am determined to have some quality me-time before the busy next couple of days. And there is no better way to take a breather than with these gorgeously scented rose treats from Crabtree & Evelyn!
For this Valentines’ Day 2016, Crabtree & Evelyn has prepared a very special limited edition All Butter Rose Biscuit [SGD18 for 150gm]. Imagine the traditional butter shortbread biscuits scented with delicate rose petals… utterly delicious!! I ate half the packet in 1 seating, it is that good! Definitely going to stock up on these!
I don’t normally have a sweet tooth, so I need something to accompany those biscuits. And Crabtree & Evelyn’s Afternoon Tea [SGD18 for 25 ratchets] is simply perfect. A light yet fragrant blend of Kenyan and Ceylon tea leaves, it is thirst-quenching and brings out the flavour of the rose in the biscuits!
