Chanel is killing it this spring!! The Neapolis Collection [reviews start from here] is so bold and fresh, although I know some people found it a little overwhelming when it is still covered in snow outside. If that is the case for you, then you will certainly enjoy the new Dernieres Neiges de Chanel Collection! This is a capsule collection of makeup that is part of the annual spring Le Blanc release. Originally designed to target the Asian market, Chanel has now made the range accessible globally, though still in keeping with the Asian aesthetic of soft pearly pastels for a youthful luminous look.

I hope it is still Spring where you are at, because I have a lot more to show you. It feels like the year is on accelerators, and I won’t be surprised I wake up tomorrow to find half the year has gone by. Let’s make the moment count, by taking a walk through the pretty RMK Spring 2018 Makeup Collection! Titled Chic Light, RMK has created a whole new collection of novel products to bring out that spring-time glow. Expect sheer colors that reflect dewy freshness, and lots of gorgeous pastel hues. Sorry for the radio silence! I’ve spent a couple of days skiing at Winterberg with my team, and then last weekend in Bruxelles. I really missed skiing, and I think I’ve gotten the hang of traveling alone and actually rather enjoy it! Bruxelles surprised me with its charm, it’s almost like going somewhere in France, except the people are friendlier and speak English. I’ve uploaded the highlights of my trip on my Instagram stories so feel free to go check it out there.
Today, I’m popping in to wipe off this dusty blog and update you on some new lipsticks! Matte lips are not going anywhere soon, especially when they come with a nice creamy texture and satin finish. The coming Lunar year will feature the Chinese zodiac of the dog, and Innisfree celebrates that with one of my favourite characters - Snoopy! I have really fond memories of my adolescent years spent with the cast of Peanuts, and their laid-back yet incredibly insightful philosophies about life. Snoopy never says a single word, yet that self-assured grin of his always makes me feel good about myself. Special occasions, especially Valentines Day, is always a big deal and well celebrated in Snoopy’s world, and so it is apt that all the elements come together nicely with the latest Innisfree x Snoopy Collection.

Welcome to the first #ManiMonday post of 2018!! I finally soaked off my gel manicure, and am able to properly swatch a couple of nail polishes from the Chanel Neapolis Collection. There are 4 shades to choose from, each one inspired by the colors of Napoli. There is a sweet pastel pink to tease the spring, a classic red, and a couple of Le Vernis that are more exotic and unexpected. As you can probably guess, I went for the latter.
