Goodness, is it Summer already?! I suppose somewhere in the world, it is always sunny and fabulous. Tom Ford released its Summer Soleil 2018 collection about a month ago in the US, and I had my eye on the new eye & cheek palette right away. In addition to releasing colour variations of some core members of the soleil line, Tom Ford has also introduced a couple of brand new items this season. Chanel Rouge Coco is a line that is as institutional as the brand itself, my very first Chanel was a Rouge Coco Shine lipstick. Over the years, the line has expanded considerably to include lip colors of various textures and finishes. I’ve fallen in love with Sulwhasoo recently… as a brand it is not new to me, but it is a slow and incremental journey of explorations. The more I try and further I venture, the more I realize just how much my skin loves Sulwhasoo’s products! Lancome reformulated several of its foundations last year, and the most hyped was perhaps the Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation. This is one of the brand’s top-selling foundations best known for its matte finish and long-lasting wear. It is perhaps diametrically different from the much more hydrating and dewy Teint Miracle Foundation [reviewed here], and is better suited for those prone to shine. I had tested this out more than 4 years ago when it was first launched, and found the new version to be much improved!
