Chanel CC Cream

CHANEL CC CREAM

CHANEL CC CREAM

Spring is in the air!!! And with it, comes a plethora of new beauty offerings!! I’ve yet to try a CC cream, mostly because I hadn’t seen one from a brand I trust. Perhaps that’s going to change now that Chanel has launched it’s own CC Cream! It’s a tad pricey, and the reviews out there aren’t top-notch… but maybe… just maybe…… After all, who can resist the double-locking Cs? ;)

Update:

I had the opportunity to test this out over the weekend, and must say, i absolutely love the Chanel CC Cream! It currently only comes in shade 02 Beige, which works for the average fair to medium Asian skin tone. Coverage is generous for a BB/CC cream, and it was able to correct most of the redness and even some leftover pimple scars on me. I used it over a makeup base and it gave a dewy, polished look for a nice weekend. It did turn shiny over my forehead and cheeks by the end of the day though, but that is a general issue I have with all Chanel makeup products and nothing a dusting of loose powder can’t fix. Overall, I give the Chanel CC Cream 9/10.

The Chanel CC Cream is currently available at all Chanel counters in Singapore, and retails for SGD82 for 30ml.

  1. Is this similar to a BB cream. Would be interested to know how it works for you if you do get it. I completely agree, anything Chanel is pretty hard to resist.

CC creams are supposed to provide better coverage than BB creams, and all the same skin-loving benefits. Will certainly give an update once I had the chance to try it!!
