This Spring has been all about new bases it seems! I received these new items from The Body Shop some weeks ago, and have been using them from time to time… each time finding myself pleasantly surprised! This is my first time trying foundations from The Body Shop, and to be honest I was skeptical at first, which was why I tested it so many times to finally be able to give my two thumbs-up! I love discovering new beauty finds, and was super piqued when a small mysterious black bottle arrived about a month back. Since it was not accompanied by any materials nor instructions, I was completely mystified. With a name like Foundation Essence…. it sounded like some sort of hybrid product to me. And only Rouge Bunny Rouge could possibly come up with such a romantic descriptor as Skin Soul Drops! I’ve experimented with it for the past few weeks, and am here to unlock the mysteries of the latest in makeup!

Every time Guerlain releases a new foundation, I feel like I have found my holy grail, and there’s no way to top it. But somehow, they keep managing to surprise me! I know this is a brand that does not seem to work for everybody, but for those lucky enough to find a good matching shade, Guerlain foundations can be your best secret weapon. For me, my latest beauty secret is Guerlain Parure Gold Foundation!

The cushion revolution does not seem to be letting up anytime soon, in fact, Western brands seem to be eager to jump on the bandwagon as well. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Givenchy has released the Givenchy Teint Couture Cushion. It is expected to be released worldwide in February, and we lucky folks in Singapore were the first in the world to experience this brand new piece of beauty artistry!
